Multi-Faith on Action Ghana
Multi-Faith in Action Ghana LBG is a registered Ghanaian organisation that brings together Christian, Muslim and Traditional faith communities to work collectively for the common good.
The organisation promotes interfaith cooperation as a practical approach to empowering local communities, advancing inclusive development and strengthening peaceful coexistence. By mobilising faith leaders, faith-based institutions and community members across religious traditions, Multi-Faith in Action Ghana creates opportunities for joint action on development challenges affecting poor, vulnerable and marginalised communities.
Multi-Faith in Action Ghana believes that Ghana's diverse faith communities possess significant moral authority, grassroots networks and social resources that can be harnessed to promote social justice, accountable governance and sustainable community development.

Our Values
Faith in Action: Faith communities carry unique moral authority and trusting relationships. We mobilise these for the common good, not narrow sectarian interests.
Dignity and Justice: Every person deserves to live with dignity. We pursue equity, advocate for justice, and challenge systems that marginalise or exclude.
Multifaith Solidarity: Ghana’s rich religious diversity is a strength. Christians, Muslims, and all faith traditions work as equals, unified by shared values and common goals.
Accountability: We are transparent and accountable to the communities we serve, our partners, and to God. We act with integrity in all our dealings.
People Power: Lasting change is built from the ground up. We develop the leadership capacity of community members, especially those whose voices are least heard.
Relational Organising: Relationships are the foundation of our work. We invest in building deep, trusting connections that sustain long-term collective action.
Local Ownership: Ghanaian communities must own their own change. Our structures centre local leadership, culture, and decision-making authority.
Learning and Adaptation: We are a learning organisation. We evaluate our work honestly, share what we discover, and adapt to the needs of local contexts.
Our Objectives
- To build and strengthen a national network of Community Faith Alliances across all regions of Ghana.
- To develop the leadership capacity of community organisers, faith leaders, and alliance members through structured training and peer learning.
- To facilitate collective action campaigns that produce concrete improvements in health, livelihoods, education, clean water, land rights, and civic participation.
- To develop a sustainable, locally accountable governance and financial management structure.
- To maintain strong partnerships with Faith in Action International globally, government bodies, civil society, and international development partners.
- To strengthen multifaith dialogue and cooperation as a foundation for community resilience and social cohesion.
